The sea of Perú

Let me tell you about the sea of Perú.
The sea
of Peru is incredible, pasu, is grandazo!
I was born in the Andes, and did not know it, once my family and I climbed to a higher hill, and I saw a line in the background, very very blue. My mom told me "that's the sea, Kunaq, and one day you're going to know it"
And so, one day we went with my cousins on holiday.
We had never seen so much water in just one place!

The sea of Peru is rich in fish and its islands are home to thousands of birds like the Humboldt penguin, guanay or piquero.
But all is not pretty, there is much illegal fishing both artisanal and industrial, and authorities all the time have to watch to protect it.

Its waters are cold in most of its length, except in the northern coasts in Piura and Tumbes. There the sea is warm and have sunniest beaches. The hotels and beach resorts there are the most beautiful!
The sea of Peru looks green because it has much phytoplankton that are little algae with which the food chain begins. So it is very rich in marine life sea.

The sea of Peru have many of the best waves in the world for surfing. Its famous beaches Pico Alto, Cerro Azul, Cabo Blanco, Peñascal ... but I do not surf yet because I have to learn to swim. Someday, sure!
